WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS (WI-FI)
You can enjoy free wireless internet access via your laptop or handheld device at Southampton Airport.
YOUR EQUIPMENT
The minimum requirement to connect is an 802.11b compatible device. Most portable devices have this function built-in and many others can be upgraded with a wireless networking card.
NETWORK PROVIDERS
Free wireless internet access at Southampton Airport is provided in partnership with Purple/North WiFi.
HOW TO CONNECT
- Turn on your wireless-enabled device.
- When prompted to choose a wi-fi network, select 'Southampton_Airport_WiFi'.
- Select 'Required Duration'.
- First-time users may be asked to register some information. This will only happen once, and thereafter your individual device will be recognised.
- You will now be connected to the Southampton Airport free wi-fi service.

- 1 day Premium – £2.00 (10Mb higher speed, allowing downloading and streaming)
