Southampton Airport chooses Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as its Charity of the Year 2017
Southampton Airport has announced that it has chosen the well-known Southampton based charity, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) as its Charity of the Year for 2017.
This Saturday 14th January, Southampton Airport will be holding a special event in West Quay, Southampton, to give one lucky person the chance to win 4 return tickets to Ibiza with Volotea from Southampton.
Southampton Airport is due to introduce state-of-the-art, non-invasive body scanning technology in response to regulations set out by the Department for Transport (DfT).
This Thursday 24th November, Southampton Airport and their Charity of the Year, Where There’s a Will, will be hula hooping all the way to Jersey.
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has started operating its expanded 2016/17 Winter schedule from Southampton Airport which features two new routes to Lyon and Munich, offering a total choice of up to 270 flights across 23 routes. Volotea, the airline of small and mid‐sized European cities, will continue its operation from Southampton next summer with a new route connecting the city to the Balearic Island of Ibiza. Flights will be operated once a week to Ibiza (on Wednesdays) from the 25th May. Flights to Majorca will continue and will be operated 4 times a week (on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays) from 28th May.
Southampton Airport has been awarded the Airport of the Year Award by the European Regions Airline Association. The announcement was made at the annual ERA awards dinner during the ERA General Assembly in Madrid on Wednesday 12th October.
