More info

Below are the lists of destinations we're currently flying to and we have split these into local non-red list and international non-red list destinations, please check with the airline directly for full details.

We are working closely with our airline partners to safely restart our flight programs to ensure you reach that essential business meeting, catch up with friends & family or go on that holiday you’ve been dreaming of.

The UK Government has now implemented a red and non-red list of countries to replace the previous red, amber and green lists. This new system is a lot easier to understand and means that international travel is finally getting underway and we can all start living out our holiday dreams that have been deeply brewing over the past 18 months.

Given the frequency of change, we advise you to check the GOV.UK Foreign Travel Advice website for the latest details.

Red and non-red list rules

Non-Red List

Non-Red List

If you are over 18, fully vaccinated and travelling from a non-red list country you must complete a passenger locator form and take a COVID-19 PCR test within 2 days of arriving in England – you can use the CTM booking portal to book and pay £68 for an NHS COVID-19 PCR test, or you can buy a test from a list of private providers In England (at the moment, you should only buy ‘self-swab at home’ tests).

You will not need to isolate unless the result of the COVID-19 test you’ve taken on day 2 after arriving back in England is positive or NHS England Test and Protect contact you to let you know that you need to isolate as you’ve travelled with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Red List

Red List

If you have been in a country or area on the red list at any point in the 10 days before arriving in England, you will only be allowed to enter the UK if either you are a British or Irish National, you have the right to remain in the UK- this includes if you have a visa to work or study in the UK or you’re travelling to the UK because you have a certain type of job or for essential medical treatment.

Before travelling to England from a red list country, you’ll need to complete a passenger locator form, take a COVID-19 test (children aged under 11 do not need to take this test) and book a quarantine hotel package, including 2 COVID-19 PCR tests. On arrival in England, you must quarantine in the hotel you’ve booked for 10 days. If you test positive for COVID-19 while in quarantine, you may need to quarantine for longer.

Answers to your questions

1

What is the red and non-red list?

From the 4th of October, the Government's traffic light system has been replaced with a new, simplified system for travellers returning to the UK. There is now just a Red List and Rest of World List.

If you are fully vaccinated within 14 days of returning to the UK you no longer need to take a test before your return to the UK from a non-red list country. You will only need to take the day 2 PCR test after you have returned and you will not be required to quarantine when returning from a country on the non-red list.

We recommend you visit the GOV.UK advice page for more information.

2

What does it mean if a country is on the UK's non-red list?

If you are fully vaccinated within 14 days of returning to the UK you no longer need to take a test before your return to the UK from a non-red list country. You will only need to take the day 2 PCR test after you have returned and you will not be required to quarantine when returning from a country on the non-red list.

We recommend you visit the GOV.UK advice page for more information.

3

What does it mean if a country is on the UK's red list?

If you are arriving to the UK from a red list country, the rules haven't changed. You will still need to pre-book a mandatory 11-night quarantine hotel package for your arrival in the UK, which will include the day 2 and day 8 PCR tests. These same rules also apply to those who are fully vaccinated.

We recommend you visit the GOV.UK advice page for more information.

My destination requires me to prove I have been double vaccinated – how can I do this?

If you live in England and have been fully vaccinated, you will be able to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination by requesting a printed copy of your vaccination status online or by phoning the COVID-19 Status Helpline or by requesting a printed version online. This can be done here.
