Southampton Airport has partnered up with ICTS UK & Ireland and the TAC Healthcare Group Ltd (TAC) to offer onsite rapid antigen testing to all passengers who require this service before they fly.

Passengers flying who require this test will not be allowed to check-in unless they have a negative test result. The Antigen test will offer either a negative or non-negative test. Passengers require a negative test to be able to travel.

ICTS UK & Ireland     TAC Healthcare Group

ICTS UK & Ireland is a specialist aviation security services provider and has been a partner of the AGS Group since 2018.

TAC is a clinician-led health care provider based in Aberdeen City but covering the whole of the UK. They are regulated by Health Improvement Scotland and the Care Quality Commission.

GOV.UK Foreign travel advice

Use the link in the payment confirmation email to complete step 2 of the booking process with TAC, our Rapid Antigen Test booking partner. This step not only verifies your email address, which is essential to receiving your testing certificate, but it's also because Southampton Airport doesn't capture essential health data which you will need to provide to TAC. This will include your GPs details, and passport number, as this information is required by the Labs in order to process your test.

Confirmation

Receive your booking confirmation email from TAC to confirm your Rapid Antigen Test slot. Note, during busy periods this can sometimes time a few hours to arrive in your inbox.

On the day

Passengers flying who require this test will not be allowed to check-in unless they have a negative test result. On arriving, these passengers must follow signs for the testing zone, located in The Globe Bar & Kitchen before security search. At the entrance, report to the Reception desk, where further instruction will be provided. Please ensure that you provide photographic ID when attending your appointment.

The test

The process will take between 12 and 15 minutes. Passengers will be asked to wait in the testing facility until this is complete. Please note, the testing process can sometimes take longer. Once the testing process is completed, the passengers will be issued a certificate via email. The certificate will be sent to the same email address that was verified when you made your booking.

Results

The Antigen test will offer either a negative or non-negative test. Passengers will require a negative test to be able to travel.
