It is your responsibility to check you are not only booking the correct COVID test but also ensure you leave enough time to get the results before you fly. The COVID testing service is operated by ICTS UK & Ireland and the TAC Healthcare Group Ltd. Southampton Airport is not responsible for any results of testing.FCO Website
Use the link in the payment confirmation email to complete step 2 of the booking process with TAC, our Test booking partner. This step not only verifies your email address, which is essential to receiving your testing certificate, but it's also because Southampton Airport doesn't capture essential health data which you will need to provide to TAC. This will include your GPs details and passport number, as this information is required by the Labs in order to process your test.
YOU MUST COMPLETE STEP 2 OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE TESTED
Receive a booking confirmation email from TAC. Your PCR Postal Test will now be mailed to you, arriving via Royal Mail within the next 48 hours, excluding Sundays.

Taking the test
The following video demonstrates how the test should be conducted. Please watch this video carefully before purchasing the PCR Postal Test so you are fully aware of what to expect.
Clean your hands before you start the testing process. Wash your hands for 60 seconds or use a hand sanitiser that has at least 70% alcohol. Not doing this may impact your test result. Before taking the test use a mirror to see inside your mouth so you can visualise where the swob will go. When completing the test, the fabric end of the swab must not touch anything else, other than the areas directed. When using the swob, you must avoid touching your cheeks, tongue or teeth with the tip of the swab.Tips for washing your hands
You will receive your results certificate by email within 48 hours, subject to Royal Mail operating normally.
