Book your PCR Park & Test (previously Drive-Thru) prior to your departure. Please ensure you include your Vehicle Registration Number correctly, as this will be used to let you drive into the car park without being charged.
If you do not require parking, enter your first initial and surname as the Vehicle Registration Number instead.
Upon booking you’ll receive a payment confirmation email and, you may also receive a reminder text message.
You can purchase up to 3 additional tests, on top of the main test. These can be added under the 'Travel Extras' on the details page of the booking.
If this option isn't present, then there are no more additional tests are available and another time slot would need to be selected.
It is your responsibility to check you are not only booking the correct COVID test but also ensure you leave enough time to get the results before you fly. Use the link in the payment confirmation email to complete step 2 of the booking process with TAC, our PCR Park & Test booking partner.
This step not only verifies your email address, which is essential to receiving your testing certificate, but it's also because Southampton Airport doesn't capture essential health data which you will need to provide to TAC. This will include your GPs details and passport number, as this information is required by the Labs in order to process your test.

You can purchase up to 3 additional tests, on top of the main test. All PCR Test(s) purchased will take place in the same vehicle that is registered as part of the transaction.PCR Park & Test FAQs
Receive your booking confirmation email from TAC. Note, during busy periods this can sometimes time a few hours to arrive in your inbox.
On the day
On the day, please arrive at the PCR Park & Test car park (located in the Priority Car Park within the Short Stay multi-story) at the start of your chosen time slot.
You may arrive at any point during your time slot.
The test will take place within the COVID Testing Centre, which is located in The Globe Bar & Kitchen within the main Terminal building.
Please ensure that you provide photographic ID when attending your appointment.
Car parking is free for the duration of your test(s).
You will receive your results certificate by email in either 12 or 24 hours.
This will depend on the product you have purchased.
If you test negative
Passengers who test negative can proceed to arrive at the airport.
If you test positive, you must self isolate and follow the Government Health Guidelines. For more information, visit GOV.UK.
You must also contact your airline and advise them if you test positive.
WHEN ENTERING THE TERMINAL PLEASE WEAR A FACECOVERING
Passengers who test negative will be allowed to proceed to check-in for their flight.
