BAA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ferrovial, Europe’s leading infrastructure, construction and service group and one of the largest private infrastructure operators in the world.

BAA owns and operates seven airports in the United Kingdom handling over 148 million passengers a year; Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

In addition, BAA has an international airports business comprising 4 other airports outside the UK.

Commercial revenues represent the single most important source of non-aeronautical income for our UK airports. The scale of our UK airport retail business and the resources, expertise and world-class standards that our international retail team are able to offer are all helping to maximise the non-aeronautical revenues in the 5 airports with whom we are involved.
