Buses to Southampton

Two local bus operators connect Southampton Airport with the city centre. Journey time is approximately 35 to 40 minutes.

Uni-link

The U1C bus service operates between Southampton Airport, Southampton University, the city centre and waterfront. It runs every 15 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes at weekends and public holidays. One bus even has on-board wi-fi internet access.

There's also a U1A service in the opposite direction, from city to airport.

First Group

First Group runs the 14 and 14A services, offering an hourly service from Southampton Airport, Monday to Saturday until 13:26pm and two additional services later in the afternoon.

Coaches to national destinations

Southampton's National Express coach terminal is in the city centre, on Harbour Parade (off Western Esplanade).

There are direct and connecting services to destinations around Britain including central London, and Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Journey time to London (Victoria) is from 130 min to 200 min, depending on time of day.
