2010 is a very special year for Southampton Airport, as it marks 100 years since the first ever flight at the airport.
Southampton Airport has particularly historic links with the Channel Islands. Airline Aurigny have been flying to Alderney from Southampton for over 40 years, and there has been a link between Southampton and Jersey since 1934!
