BAA is the world’s leading airport company. But this barely begins to describe the work we do. We own seven UK airports, have a 65% stake in Naples Airport and retail management contracts at three US airports.

Security
We are considered a world-leader in security with nearly one half of our staff working in this area. We were also the first to introduce 100% hold baggage screening at our airports.

Passenger views count
We work closely with travellers to make sure we're giving them what they want. In fact, we survey around 70,000 passengers each year to get their views. 

Shops
We're one of the largest commercial landlords in the UK, providing more than 1m sq ft of commercial accommodation for around 900 airport retail organisations.

Fire service
We have our own 460 strong fire team who provide airside support across our airports.

Flights
Around 1,700 aircraft take-off from our UK airports every day to more than 700 destinations. That's one every 30 seconds.

Construction
We're one of the construction industry's  largest clients, continually investing in new, often state-of-the-art buildings.
