Working with our partners

We recognise the importance of partnership working across all aspects of our business, including corporate responsibility. We work together with our business partners on a variety of issues, including aircraft noise performance, safety and waste and recycling etc.

We actively engage with stakeholders in and around the airport, and their feedback enables us to understand our business better in a wider community context. Progress cannot be made in isolation, and this section sets out some examples of our approach, with views from some of the people we’ve worked with recently.

Delivering good service

In November 2007, the airport held the first ever Business Partners Conference, which brought together representatives from every airport business, including airlines, handling agents, retailers and control authorities. The aim of the conference was to share our vision, and emphasise the focus on great customer service

Gay Roberts, Station Manager, Aviance:

"The event was a great opportunity to understand what the plans are for next year and to network with other business partners from around the airport. It was also a chance for all the airport's business partners to think about the importance of working together in putting the passenger first."
