Smoking Areas
No smoking laws
New legislation in scotland has introduced a ban on smoking in public places. This applies to BAA Scotland’s three airports - Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Therefore smoking within terminal buildings at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Airports will be prohibited.
It will be an offence to smoke in a public space. Individuals who do so will be liable to a fixed penalty fine of £50.
Smoking will only be permitted in designated areas outside the terminal buildings. For more information on the ban on smoking in public spaces, go to www.clearingtheairscotland.com
